Mike develops a case of happy feet. |
David making sure the chicken's dead! We take no chances when we cook for a large gathering of people. |
Now that the chicken's dead we can put it in the oven and add a little flavor to it. |
A bit of barbecue sauce does the trick. Look out, we're really cooking here! |
Chicken's in the pot getting happy. |
You can never have too much BBQ sauce! |
From the left: Mike, James, Forrest, Dick, and Dave check on a pot of potatoes. |
What did he put in that pot??? |
Hey Mike! Get a little closer to that oven why don't you? |
Mike, about to cut David's fingers off with his pliers as he helps to tip another small pot of chicken into the big oven. |

The beginnings of a new pot of potatoes. |
Okay, now we give the pot a stir... |
Dick adds a little seasoning... |
Mike found himself a new play toy... |
Starting a pot of beans. |
The beans are starting to look good! |
Greg is busy making a little ice cream treat for the cooks. |
Dutch oven cooks hard at work! |
A nice collection of ovens doing their thing. For this dinner we cooked (2) 17" MACA ovens full of barbecue chicken, (2) 15" MACA ovens full of beans, and (6) 16" Lodge ovens full of our special Dutch oven potatoes. |
Our potatoes looking nice and cheesy! |
